As the weather becomes colder and leaves fall from the sky scattered beneath your feet as you walk down the damp path, I am reminded of change. Watching the trees change color and lose their leaves only to gain them back bigger & stronger the next year, it seems as though mother nature follows a pattern that I have become a very big fan of -the changing of the seasons.
Autumn seems to be about change ~ November 1959: The American Football League was formed . And in November of 1997 The Milwaukee Brewers became the first major league baseball team to switch leagues during the 20th century. They moved from the American League to the National League. Change is inevitable, it makes us grow as people and it makes us excited for the new sports, recreation activities, family gatherings & business opportunity just to name a few.
With the autumn leaves and the change in the season, try something new this year. Get excited for the change of the season and look forward to the new that it will bring in the following year.
Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. Everybody at one point in their life has the chance to be great at something. If God gave you a gift, don’t shame him by throwing it away because determination today leads to success tomorrow. Has anybody ever told you that?
The truth is nothing can bring you peace but yourself, self trust is the first secret to success. So turn your stumbling blocks into stepping stones and climb high, climb far…your goal is the sky, so you aim at the stars, Because the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
The secret of self-confidence and courage hinges on the kind of thoughts you think, so hold an image of the life you want, and that image will become fact. Because to give without thought of grain, to help without expectation of personal benefit, is the ultimate in loving concern. Giving is vital to spiritual growth!
I am not stealing or claiming to be the original creator of many of these sentences, I simply arranged them together in a string of lines to create encouragement and positive enlightenment.
I have learned that the tests of life are not meant to break you, but to make you. At least that’s what they say when you are going through the crazy bad times. But if you have been there, you know that you feel empty and alone. But a positive mental attitude is a belief that things are going to turn out well, and that you can overcome any kind of trouble or difficulty.
So learn to relax, your body is precious as it houses your mind and spirit. Inner peace begins with a relaxed body. In contrast, the capacity to be either happy or unhappy is determined by the manner in which you react to whatever happens.
Through faith, man experiences the meaning of the world, through action he learns to give it meaning. Which brings me to remind you that to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens. Because this world is but a canvas to our imagination.
Don’t listen to the pessimists, never mind the hypocritical. The fantasy that you want is the reality that you can live. Don’t make me choose and I won’t fall, ‘cuz there comes a point in time when everybody falls, don’t know when I’m going to crawl. Don’t listen to the negativity, never mind the jealousy. The world that you dream is the life that you live, the road you think about is the path that you walk. The choices you make will define the life you live, so tell me when I’m going to crawl, don’t treat me cruel, don’t make me feel small.
It’s funny how full an empty room can feel when you are full of emotion, the uncomfortable surroundings that you walk through each hour of every day you are alive. Every day you look for answers to questions you don’t know, it’s funny how life can be when facing strategy. It’s scary how one can be when suffering from pain, it’s astonishing how quickly one life can stop with no rhyme or reason. I wake up every morning with heavy things I have learned on my mind and search for dreams I’ve never seen. People with no faces pass by, changing their lives and wondering why. It’s sad how easy departure can be when detached from reality in the uncomfortable surroundings of today.
“Things will work out” or “Only time will heal” and “Keep your chin up” these all seem to be words of encouragement when times are tough. Sometimes it feels like there are always uphill battles & no matter how hard you work, you will never “get ahead” because when you work your butt off for success, there is always someone else working harder. I think the American society gives young people a false sense of security that if they go to school, get good grades, work hard and graduate college then they will get a job and all of their worries will be magically flushed away. But what they fail to tell you is that, getting a job and keeping a job are two different things, taxes take a large percentage of the money you make and good things do happen to bad people. It is all in your attitude, the way you think about a situation and only you have the power to change it. Don’t be one of those people who are always complaining about their life or job or relationship and not do anything about it. I have friends who hate their job and bitch about it constantly, but they wont do a damn thing to change it. I know people who complain about how untrustworthy a friend of theirs is, but they won’t stop hanging out with them….Really!? Find a solution and turn that frown upside down- I tell them find a new job that you enjoy and go get it, stop hanging out with those who you don’t trust. But they don’t, so in the end I conclude that they are just happy being miserable.
Being happy and excited about the “dance” that we call life is 60% of your mental success. But, he cold hard truth is this:
• People will talk behind your back – both good and bad.
• You will lose someone you love
• Having a child will change your life
• One day someone close to you will die
• College isn’t easy
• Finding a job is hard, working up in a job is harder
• Somebody may lie to you more than once
Life isn’t perfect and neither are people, A lot of it is clutter, you have to sift through the clutter and pick out the good points, you must have self confidence in yourself, be positive & not get caught up in what other people have to say about everything. Everybody will have an opinion about what you should do, or what you need to do, but the truth is, you are the only one who knows what is best for you. Opinions have crushed great people, Wisdom and self confidence have built a amazing individuals.
